Configure Your First Game

After the platform passes Motion Test, connect one supported racing or flight title to SRS. Begin with a default profile and low intensity; advanced tuning can come later.

Confirm Support

Check that the exact title and platform—Windows PC, PlayStation, or Xbox—are currently supported. Setup requirements can differ between PC and console versions of the same title. Console users should complete Console Setup with MagicBox before continuing.

Find the Title in SRS

For PC setup, open Games → PC and locate the title. Follow the action shown:

•  CONFIG: Select it and allow SRS to configure the title.

•  INSTRUCTIONS: Complete the manual steps displayed by SRS.

•  Game not installed: Run the title once, close it, restart SRS, and check again.

An INSTRUCTIONS message may remain after setup because SRS cannot always confirm changes made inside the title.

Enable Telemetry

Complete the title-specific requirements exactly. Depending on the title, this may include enabling telemetry or UDP, installing a plug-in, editing a configuration file, or entering an IP address and port. Use only the values shown in the current instructions for that title. Save changes and restart the title when directed.

Start with a Default Profile

Use the default or recommended SRS profile and reduce intensity for the first session. Keep the motion area clear and the power-disconnection method accessible. Do not change several tuning values or install multiple profiles before basic motion works.

Launch and Test

• Power the platform and confirm SRS or MagicBox is connected.
• Confirm the correct title and starting profile.
• Launch the title.
• Enter an active driving or flying session; menus and replays may not send telemetry.
• Begin slowly and confirm controlled motion.
• SRS must remain running during PC use.
  
  

If the Title Does Not Move
If Motion Test still works, check:

•  The exact title/platform is supported.

•  SRS remains connected to the platform.

•  CONFIG or INSTRUCTIONS steps are complete.

•  Telemetry or UDP is enabled and saved.

•  IP address, port, plug-in, or file settings are correct.

•  The title is in an active session.

•  Firewall, VPN, network, or another telemetry application is not blocking data.

Change one item at a time and retest. Do not change platform firmware, wiring, or model selection to fix missing title telemetry.

Save a Working Setup

When motion works, save the profile if any changes are made before closing the sim. Add VR motion compensation, wind, bass shakers, dashboards, or other integrations one at a time after the basic setup is reliable.
