Tools, Equipment and Help You Will Need

Gather your tools and arrange help before opening hardware bags. A prepared workspace makes assembly faster and reduces the chance of lost fasteners or damaged parts.

People and Lifting
Two adults are recommended for moving boxes, joining large frame sections, installing the seat, and positioning the completed platform. Use a dolly or hand truck for heavy packages when available.

Do not lift the platform by motors, rods, control boxes, cables, adjustable mounts, or other parts not designed as lifting points.

Basic Tools
Your shipment may include basic assembly tools. The exact requirements depend on the model and accessories. Commonly useful items include:

•  Metric hex keys and wrenches

•  Metric socket set and ratchet

•  Screwdrivers

•  Adjustable wrench or pliers where permitted

•  Tape measure and level

•  Flashlight or work light

•  Small containers for hardware

•  Cable ties or reusable hook-and-loop straps

•  Protective cardboard or blanket

Use the sizes specified in the assembly instructions. Do not use an impact driver unless the guide specifically permits it.

Equipment Needed for Setup

For PC use, have a supported Windows computer with an available USB port and internet access for downloading Sim Racing Studio (SRS) and activating the license.

For PlayStation or Xbox use, have the MagicBox, a supported console title, a phone/tablet/computer browser, and access to the same home network as the console. An Ethernet cable is recommended when practical.

Have the seat, rails or adapters, wheel and pedals, or flight controls you plan to install. Confirm that the required mounts are available before assembly reaches that stage.

Helpful Setup Supplies

•  Phone or camera for reference photos

•  Labels or masking tape for cables

•  A second device for viewing instructions

•  Extension lighting for dark connection areas

•  Non-slip floor protection suitable for the room

Avoid permanent cable ties until the platform has passed its movement test; cable routing may need adjustment.

Before You Begin

•  Workspace is clear and well lit.

•  All heavy-lifting help is available.

•  Assembly instructions are open on a separate device.

•  Parts are protected from the floor.

•  Correct seat/control mounts are available.

•  PC or MagicBox setup equipment is ready.

If a step requires drilling, electrical modification, substitute hardware, or a tool not shown in the instructions, pause and confirm the procedure before continuing.
