Select the guide that matches your DOF Reality model. Using the correct instructions ensures that the frame, motors, linkages, cables, and software settings are assembled in the proper arrangement.
Find Your Model
Look for the model name on the product label, packaging, order confirmation, or platform documentation. Current model families include:
• M2 or MP2
• H2 or P2
• H3 or P3
• H4 or P4
• H6 or P6
The number indicates the platform's motion configuration. H identifies HERO and P identifies PRO. M2/MP2 is the seat-mover platform.
Open the Matching Guide
- M2 Assembly Instructions
- H2 or P2 Assembly Instructions
- H3 or P3 Assembly Instructions
- H4 or P4 Assembly Instructions
- H6 or P6 Assembly Instructions
Keep the guide open throughout assembly. Follow its sequence even if a different platform looks similar in a video or photo.
Current, Upgraded, or Legacy Platform
Use the current guide for a newly purchased current platform. If the platform was purchased earlier, acquired used, or upgraded, compare its motors, gearboxes, sensors/encoders, control boxes, and frame layout with the guide before starting. Archived instructions are clearly intended for earlier platform versions. Do not mix steps from current and legacy guides.
Before Assembly
Confirm that the guide shows the same:
• Model and number of axes
• Frame and motor arrangement
• Control boxes and connectors
• Sensor or encoder style
• Mounting brackets and linkages
If the images do not match your platform, pause before installing motors, connecting cables, or applying power. Contact DOF Reality Support with a full-platform photo and close photos of the motors, control boxes, and labels.
