Test Cytron MD13S

Please perform the Cytron MD13S driver board test (power control board for the motor) and provide the results:

  1. Power OFF.

  2. Disconnect the USB and power cable from the control box.

  3. Detach the motor linkage so it can rotate freely.

  4. Open the control box.

  5. Check all connections: ensure all wires between the mainboard and the driver board are properly connected.

  6. Connect all motors as they should be.

  7. Reconnect the power cable and turn on the control box.

  8. Check the power modules: all silver power modules inside the control box should have a glowing green LED. If any of them don't light up, go to this guide https://dofreality.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/151000217583-if-power-supplies-do-not-light-up-led

  9. Locate the Cytron MD13S driver board for the motor you are testing.

  10. Disconnect the connector from the motherboard to the Cytron board.

  11. Press the "MA" button on the driver board – the motor should start rotating. Press the "MB" button on the driver board – the motor should rotate in the opposite direction.

If the motor does not rotate when pressing the MA / MB buttons, the issue is likely with the Cytron driver board, the motor itself, or the brake system.

By swapping the motors between ports, you can determine whether the problem follows the motor or stays with the control port, which helps identify the faulty component.
