How to conduct the motor swap test

Since all motors are identical, they can be swapped without risk.

Connect the “problem” motor to different ports and also try connecting “good” motors to the same port. This will confirm whether the fault follows the motor or stays with the port.

  1. Turn off the power to the entire setup.

  2. Disconnect all motor connections from all control boxes.

  3. Connect all connections of the "bad" motor to the port where the "good" motor was previously connected (the one that works properly). All other motors must be disconnected from the control box. Only one motor should be connected during this test. Connect it to the other control box (if you have an H6/P6) to rule out faults in the control box itself.

  4. Turn on only the control box to which the "bad" motor is connected.

  5. Run SMC in Sine mode for 1 minute. Before each test run, check the default values for SMC according to section 5.3 of the user manual.

Does the fault follow the motor? Or is the fault in any engine connected to a certain port?
