Sim Racing Studio Tuning Tips
Use Sim Racing Studio's Quick Motion Tuning Guide below to quickly adjust a motion profile from the TUNING > Motion page when in a game. You can also edit a motion profile when not in a game by using the Profile Manager. An extensive Motion Tuning Guide is also available on Sim Racing Studio's website that provides additional details on all the settings in the Tuning page.

- The easiest way to increase or decrease overall motion on your platform is to utilize the Max Angle slider at the top of the MOTION page. This will act as a percentage slider for how much motion occurs on your platform based on its potential performance.
- Next you can begin to increase or decrease the Effects sliders for Pitch, Roll, Yaw, Sway, Surge, Heave, and Traction Loss. Increasing the slider towards is maximum of 20 will cause more motion on that axis. Decreasing the slider will reduce motion on that axis.
- If still want more motion and have raised the Effects slider to its maximum of 20, you can begin to slowly lower the Max Telemetry value one digit at a time in the black box to the right of the Effects slider for a specific axis. Lowering the Max Telemetry too much will result in jarring/jerky motion.
- If motion feels muted or to light, you can decrease the Smoothing Effects for a specific axis. If motion occasionally feels harsh or "spiky", increase the Smoothing Effect for a specific axis.
- If motion is to jarring during a crash, increase the Overall Smoothing slider.
- If you want to feel more details in telemetry, increase Boost. However, this will apply to all axes and going above 50 boost can induce random shaking.
- If gear shifting feels to jarring, increase the Gear Smoothing Factor. However, increasing it too much on fast shifting vehicles can cause subsequent gear shifts to feel jarring again.
- If you want to reverse or invert an axis, change the Max Telemetry to a negative number. The movement for that axis will be reversed. For example, if a game output has the platform turning the wrong way on the Yaw axis, entering a negative number or changing the existing value to a negative in the Max Telemetry field for Yaw will reverse the Yaw movement.
